Sanctuary Immersion

Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature — koalas included.

A 3-Hour Guided Experience

Set within the peaceful surrounds of the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary, the Wild Light Sanctuary Immersion is a three-hour, nature-led wellbeing experience designed to gently regulate the nervous system and reconnect you with the rhythms of the wild.

Through guided meditation and breathwork, Yin Yoga and slow strength movement on the Skywalk, quiet koala observation, reflective journalling, and simple restorative rituals such as herbal tea and botanical foot soaks, guests are invited to slow down and soften into the landscape.

Created as a low-impact, high-value experience that respects wildlife and the natural environment, the immersion offers space for stillness, reflection, and meaningful connection with both nature and self.

The Journey Flow

Guests arrive at the sanctuary reception and are welcomed into a gentle transition from the outside world. A brief introduction sets the tone before beginning with calming breathwork and guided meditation to settle the body and quiet the mind.

ARRIVAL & GROUNDING

A slow, grounding blend of Yin Yoga and gentle strength unfolds on the Skywalk beneath the gum trees. Accessible movement invites the body to soften, release tension, and gradually awaken through steady, mindful flow.

MINDFUL MOVEMENT

Time is given to pause, observe & move quietly through the sanctuary landscape. Guests may witness koalas resting in the canopy while experiencing the stillness, sounds, & subtle rhythms of the surrounding bush.

NATURE CONNECTION

In a quiet sit spot, guests are guided into journalling and personal reflection. This spacious moment allows thoughts to settle, insights to emerge, and a deeper connection with the natural environment to unfold.

REFLECTION & STILLNESS

The immersion gently concludes with a restorative ritual: herbal tea or a botanical foot soak paired with guided meditation, leaving guests grounded, calm, and reconnected with both themselves and the natural world.
